Can't something be done about these companies overcharging uninsured people, or even the insurance companies?
This company wanted $163.00 on 01/24/10 for the same test performed on 07/22/09, where they charged only $78.20!
I called them to verify the figures and test and they said it was correct and that it was due to inflation! When I told them they could settle for either $78.20 or nothing, they took the $78.20! I am sure I am not the first person they have ever tried to rip off!
