Recently I had some HP printer ink cartridges refilled at the Miracle Mile (LA) store. One of them did not work and when I tried to return it I was told it couldn't be done because obviously it worked when it was given to me and I probably did something to ruin the cartridge. When I lifted the small bag with the cartridge it slipped from my hand onto the counter, at which point the assistant manager loudly said that I was trying to accost her, and that I should immediately leave her store because she was calling the police (not much of a threat, actually). Shortly, I did leave, and reported the incident immediately to corporate customer service and to the district office. This was a couple of weeks ago, and I've heard nothing since. Of course, I've not been back to a Walgreens since, and have even begun moving my prescriptions to another provider. Bad service is one thing: insults are another.
