I began using Siteleader around 2001 to host my business. We agreed on 99.00 year for a small site. Several times during the decade the price would increase and be billed automatically to my bank. This was done without any notice. I would have to fight with them to reissue my fees and work with my bank not to pay the higher fees. Each time I won. But recently Siteleader went to far and actually more than doubled my price to over 200./year. This was done with the same lack of notice and an explaination I just missed the emails. Well, I had had it. I again contacted my bank and told Siteleader that after 10 years of service I had enough and wanted out. I found another web hosting site and wanted to switch to them. Siteleader refused to move my domain name. Since this was a business name I used for 10 years it was important to me to have it. They told me to read the "fine print" which I did. And for a fee of 98.00 they would transfer the name. When I asked them about it - no response. Then two days ago, I get a email saying they lost my domain name and that happens sometimes but it's not a big deal and I can now have it back for $599 no exceptions. I said if it's lost, how can you get it, but they called it deleted. I sent several more emails to try and understand what happened - no response.
Can anyone help me get my domain name back? I believe I've had that name (which is my business of over 10 years - it's a brand - they stole... And now want 600. Please someone - I'm not an internet person, I'm a psychotherapist who helps people. Will someone help me?
