I have been doing business with Regional Finance since 1993 and have never had a major problem paying my bills on time until recently. The manager Greg Gaudig is a real ass and any customer there will agree. He is rude and discourteous, doesn't know how to talk to the customer. Everytime that I have gotten a loan through them I always opt for the life and temporary disability, and this time I happened to have become temporarily disabled. After filing my claim and assuming that all was taken care of; I received a call 2 months later saying that it was denied and I owed 2 months worth of payments. I tried to explain that I was unemployed for the past 3 months and wouldn't have it until the following month to which I was told they couldn't wait that long. Then Greg threatened to take me to court and hung up the phone on me. I was supposed to receive something telling me the full extent of that disability insurance within 30 days of obtaining the loan and I did not receive it. I was told that my condition was preexisting and the insurance would not make my payments until I returned to work. Had I any knowledge of this, I would never have signed up for it. Why pay for something I can not use? So after already being threatened by Greg about legal action, I now have to be called, as well as my references daily for money that I do not have because I am out of work.
