Can anyone help me? I paid off an account with mid america 2.5 years ago and now another company is calling me about that same account, saying it was never paid and that I owe 4 times what the original balance was on the card. I cannot seem to get a hold of anyone at Mid America and a person at EAD (the company that supposedly owns/owned MACB) said the numeber was changed, but they don't know what the new number is. If anyone has a new number for MACB or any advise, please help! I really need to get this other company off my back, thanks.
