I signed up for a free 14-day trial of this product and authorized the company to charge my credit card $. 99 for shipping and handling. I received an email that this product was being processed and would be shipped shortly. A week after the email, I received this product in a plain gray shipping bag - the only item in it the bottle - no shipping information/nothing. Given how long it took to receive the product I knew I needed to CANCEL and started trying to call the 800# listed on the bottle - could get no answer. I tried several times daily with no response.
Finally as the trial period was coming to an end, I found the shipping confirmation email I had received and clicked on the web link and thought I had canceled through that route. A few days later I received a "premiere card", along with an undated letter again with no company/contact information on it that told me to call another 800# to activate. I called this number, explained to the rep what had happened, was told it would be taken care of and CANCELLED AGAIN, thinking this was the end of it based on a confirmation email sent to me to that effect. A 2nd bottle arrived with no return address, and upon opening saw that several of the capsules had leaked their contents during shipping. Again tried to locate a way to CANCEL.
Received my January credit card bill and saw 2 charges plus an over limit fee totaling $230.00. I immediately called the 800# listed on my credit card bill and spoke to a company representative. I was informed they had no record of any cancellation and that I must have called the wrong number and sent email to the wrong address. The phone number on the bottle didn't work and I emailed directly from my 'shipping confirmation web link' so I know otherwise.
During the course of my phone call at the point where they offered to credit me back 10-20% of the total and I told them that was UNACCEPTABLE, I was informed that they were having trouble with their phone system and she would have to continue our conversation via email - which we did. I then called knowing their system was down (supposedly) and I got the same result as when I had tried canceling in December.
I responded to their email that their offer was not acceptable and emailed them copies of all previous communication regarding this matter. I also informed them I had filed a notice with my credit card company along with backup documents regarding this matter. To this date, have not heard back from ACAI 3X Company.
