Lousy Customer Service Savon of Sarasota

We purchased a couch that was delivered on 10/1/08, {$699.99}, along with $15,602.61 of other furniture. Now, 1 year and 3 months later the couch frame is broken and a spring is protruding into a cushion. {We put duct tape over spring to save cushion.} My wife and I have both requested they come and look at the couch. Savon has refused each time, citing a 1 year home inspection warranty. They want us to deal with a third party who wants to charge us $70.00 to come and look at Savon' defective merchandise. When we asked for the number of the factory, the third party told us they didn't speak English very well and were "hard to understand". All a bit too conveiniant, don't you think? Shame on you Savon! A very unhappy customer.
