Bought carpet from this store May and had a very good response from the salesman so my wife and I decided to buy the carpet The 1ST indicator was that the carpet was rejected 3 times from the mill, and this company made up 3 different excuses. The salesman was very upset and tried his hardest and finally got the carpet installed. The installers did shotty work and instead of butting up the corners of the carpet to the corner of the walls, they just rounded the carpet. The next indicator is the owner not responding to the numerous phone calls to correct this problem and they jsu never got back to us.
The other indicator is that the carpet's loop are always being being pulled out of the backing and the glue and this was the reason why it is being rejected in the first place. Everytime we vacuum it pulls out more fibers and the loops. The place where they seemed the 2 pieces together is very noticable and in the middle of the living room. I faxed 4 copied of the same complaint I had because of there shotty office staff always loosing the faxes I had sent to them and there call backs are nonexistant specially from the owner Kevin Roos. Finally we got a person from the mill to inspect our carpet which of all people was an independant conctactor and NOT from the store or the mill and that he only checked the living room and NOT all the places that the carpet was installed.
After asking why he is not inspecting all the room he said there was no need. The inspector "in his report" said that the main wear is because of heavy soil that may be due to the large dogs. We have no large dog or dogs. The testing that this person did was not a way to test and when he verbally told me that there was some problems wrong with this carpet, which totally goes against what he wrote in his report. So he lied in this report. I would highly recommend thinking twice if you decide to buy from this company, you will just as I am now paying the price only after 1 1/2 years later. Not only do they NOT HONOR there warrenty that they state but try and find ways to avoid talking about it. My wife right now is talking to my lawyer as I am writing this complaint. Please take my advise (even though you do not know me) think twice before you but here you will be better off. Thank you
