This guy "Julio" who also goes by "Rico" and "Eric' was a jack of all trades, contractor, owned or had "family" in several businesses. He was paid to do some work, I had an eviction I was dealing with and some irate people who i had to call the police on, he found out the police were coming and took off because he had a warrant for his arrest. He left we with unfinished work for a while before he came back to finish it. He us a regular poster on CraigsList for all sorts of businesses I found out. This is how I got him to finish the work-I started flagging his ads and posting not to use him, he finally contacted me to finish the work, I know he knew it was me so I guess he figured he better finish his work or he wouldnt be able to get any more work from CL.
He was nice, cordial, did some extra work to make up for my having to call him incessantly to get my work finished. He did a few other things with no problem, I even had him clean a vacant apartment asnd he did a fine job.
While I was going out of town I needed to store a behicle, he said he had a garage I could store it in. I let him store the car and when I got back in town he said he was on a job site out of town but would be back in a week. I waited about 10 days and asked when I could pick the car up, he said they were going to keep him longer but he would be home to visit and would let me have my car back then, this went on and on... One evening i stayed up all night waiting for him while he was supposed to bring it back and he had to cancel again! He said he would be there the next day in the morning, I told him there would be a parade blocking off my streets and I would not be able to get the car, he said "Then you will just have to walk up the street bitch" I said "I want my car now!" he said "And what are you going to do if I never broing it back to you?" I said "I am not going to be so afraid of you that I let you have my car, Im calling the police"
My brohter was a detective on the police force several years earlier so I had to call a police officer I knew to get my car back. He told the cop that he was doing me a favor and I didnt appreciate the favor. After he delivered the car to the police station he called me and said "I dont know why you called the police, I guess you thought it had to be like that"
His phone number was 314-740-9247, He drives a Silver Infinity QX4 SUV and also a White Tahoe with freaky chromed out wheels, hangs out in the Tower grove Area
He had several ads on CraigsList. He is short, shows up with a bunch of Latin people, none of them speak English except him and if you try to get your work done you either get threatened or hung up on.
Dont store any cars with him! You will never get them back!
I found out later he was in town the whole time, the car was filthy with baby toys stuff under the seats and soda splattered all over the interior. Poeple had seen the car all over town and in bad parts of town. A drug squad was watchingth car, Im lucky it didnt get impounded for drug sales!
