With out notice, she sent me a letter to withdraw from my case unless I paid her an overdue bill of 5000 that wasn't overdue. She made it seem like she had exhausted all means to collect the money from me. This was absolutely not the case. I steadly paid her bills. I paid her retainer and all other bills. This is more egregious when considering there was only 2 weeks before trial and she knew that I could in no way pay her the money. When looking at invoice there were a lot of vague charges like faxes, reviewed docs, prepared documents or emails, etc. It's down right despicable! I had no other choice but to find another lawyer.
