Another case of verizon using creditors to demand payment for mystery phone bill with some real phone charge gouging.

VERIZON HAS SENT ME A PHONE BILL via a new Collection Agency Palisades Collection Agency # account number 11597844 that i owe $5000 for a back phone bill for when i lived in Maryland. I moved from this state and paid my last bill in 2004. I paid the amount as agreed upon and my account was closed and my credit reflected the change. Now five years later i am told that i owe $ 5000 this is not right and i have sent another letter telling the creditors this is not my bill and it must be identity fraud because i have not lived in Maryland since 2002.

Secondly, i paid my last bill and the account was closed.
I have sent letters and called Verizon to discuss this matter with no success. Verizon has adopted this practice of inventing mystery phone accounts and charging outrageous sums of money because i am not the only one to file a complaint about VERIZON'S unethical practices.
