I had listed 8 option contracts for sale through Optionsxpress. I was asking $1.00 so I was limiting it to $100.00 per contract, for a total of $800.00 minumum with any maximum possible. To my surprise the sale went through for $37,000.00. Optionsxpress and the CBOE simply took the money from my account without asking and returned the option contracts to me about 2 hours after the deal went through. I complained to both and both said there was nothing I could do about it. This didn't sound right. It is theft.
