I am currently taking care of my girlfriend who's liver is failing and doesn't have long. We fell on hard times and I made the mistake by shoplifting from Wal Mart. As I was walking out the door the same man which I had seen sometime shortly before that slamming a female in the parking lot for shoplifting herself stopped me with this evil look on his face. I was scared of him I seen how he acted before. I went to walk around him and he grabbed me by the front of my jacket and forced me all the way across the little area when you walk out of the store the entrance I guess and slammed me as hard as he could into the glass wall. I then tried to get away from him because he was being so rough. His manager was actually telling him to let me go, he had seen how hard he slammed me, but the young man kept saying no we managed to get out the front doors while I was trying to get him off of me, he then started pulling my shirt up showing my bare chest to everyone, I kept screaming for the manager who followed us out to please get him off of me he was pulling my shirt up. The manager again told him to release me he wouldn't, I was so embarrassed it was bad enough that I had made a mistake. So I then pushed my bag towards him and ran to my car got in and drove off leaving my bag with my cell phone my digital camera and my wallet in it. He pressed charges I turned myself in spent 2 1/2 nights in jail. When I went to the police department to get my bag my digital camera was missing. The cops said it was not in there, thus leaving the young man who took my bag as to be the only one to take it. I called Wal mart and asked about it. I don't know who I spoke to but it was not the young man I believe it was a manager which is who I asked for. He basically called me a liar and said it could not have been in there. I know for a fact it was because I had taken a picture of my friends baby right before going to Wal mart. Does anyone have any advice on if I have a case or not? What can I do?
