We were solicited by IEA back in Oct regarding rooms for the ASR 2010 tradeshow in San Diego. IEA quoted us $109 a night per room. We reserved 5 rooms with IEA @ the OMNI in San Diego for $109.00 a night for 2 nights each room. IEA did pay the OMNI $2000.00... Here's the complaint. According to the OMNI, IEA reserved a total of 13 rooms under our company name (Not just the 5 that I have per our booking agreement) and according to the OMNI we had 8 rooms listed as NO SHOWS. Because of the NO SHOWS (listed under random names, not anybody with our company) we have been charged by the OMNI for our stay. So... We've been charged doubled. I can't get a hold of anybody @ IEA and the OMNI will not work with us in any way. They told us we need to contact our booking agent! I can't get a hold of our BOOKING AGENT! I'm so disppointed with IEA and the OMNI... I wonder if they are working together on this???
