False advertising, failure to correct account as promised, drained my bank account

Responded to Direct TV's in your face advertising by signing up for $34.99 per month service. Got first bill of $85.38. Called to query it and was promised an adjustment. That did not happen, so we did not pay the bill. They promised free receivers but apparently charged for them and would not fulfill the deal so we were sucked in. We told them we wouldnt pay the bill until it was corrected. They disconnected us. No problem, our old cable company came up with a super counter deal which we accepted. Recently I went to draw funds from my bank account and there were insufficient funds in the account. Checked the account summary to find Direct TV had lifted $172 from it. Boxes arrived from Direct TV to return the equpiment which was done. Within two days of the first withdrawl of my account, they swiped a further $453 which took my account to a maximum overdraft status which left me with no funds to use until next paycheck in two weeks. I am not the account holder with Direct TV, but they had my card details from an earlier transaction obviously. Do not allow direct tv to the priviledge of having your card numbers. I want to pursue the legalitys of what they have done to me. They are impossible to communicate with and this company should be taken to task over their dirty tactics.
