I recently recieved a letter in the main from the stated company claiming that I owed 200.00 dollars from a previous debt from a company I have never even heard of (Denovus). This "debt" was dated from 3-02-1999. Now only was the letter in english but also in spanish and did not address me by name within the letter. I became further suspicious when it stated "this office will provide you with the name and adress of the origional creditior, if different from the current creditor." Any time a debt is collected then it should have the accurate information within the notice and not only after personal information is provided to the company for "verification." When my granddaughter researched the company online she found other complaints from other consumers about this company and I hope other are more conciencious when reviewing debt collections.
