I went through to the website and entered the code which is when I got suspicious. There were spelling mistakes on the site. The site asked that you sign up to get a free credit report and bring it to your interview (the site looked like an official government credit site but it was not). They had a form to sign up for a local interview (even gave a interview location in my town) and you could pick a time slot and someone would "call to confirm"
Other suspicious things; The sender has a vague gmail address not a company one. Neither "starlight rentals" or the fake townhouse management company (Thomas more) NOR the LLC the whole thing operated under (I forget the name) come up when I do a google search.
Basically this is just phishing for your credit card information so that they can take your money. Don't fall for it.
