On 1/12 my vehicle was reposed by Public Auto Sales. My account was less then 30 days behind in payment. The Account Manager that I spoke with name "Sandra" was very rude, over aggressive, disrespectful and uncompassionate. She stated that my payment was due on 1/05. My vehicle was reposed after currently only being 7 days behind in payment. I was previously behind in December due to extensive repairs I had to make to my vehicle a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant. Because of the expensive repairs I made to the vehicle that in term caused me to become behind in payment. I paid 2,810.91 to have the vehicle repaired!!!
I requested a deferred payment. I later found out that the payment was never deferred. Had the payment been deferred as I requested the account balance would not have shown that I had a payment due on 1/05. I faxed over all the requested documentation for deferment on 11/19 such as the repair invoice. I mailed the full past due amount on the account in December via money order in the amount of 1,320. The money order was cashed by Public Auto Sales on 1/05. Had the payment been deferred as previously requested my account would state that my next payment would be due on 2/05 instead of 1/05. The company is also stating that I didn't provide them with insurance documentation. I never received any written request for this insurance documentation by mail. I spoke to "Sandra" by phone on November 17th she asked for documentation but I informed her that I was currently at work and to send something by mail.
The car lot is requesting additional money for repossession fees which I refuse to pay. I will get a different insurance company on the vehicle once I am returned the vehicle. My account should state that my next payment is due on 2/05 not 01/05 due to the deferred payment. Before I had to make the expensive repairs on my vehicle I was consistently on time with making my vehicle payments. I even paid months ahead of time on most occasions. The check engine light has been on since the day after I purchased the vehicle.
