Starlink At Skyline Motors
Mr Hovey engages in deceptive and misleading business practices. And he kept my car keys!

After seeing my car on Autotrader.com Mr. Hovey called me repeatedly for weeks telling me that he had a buyer for my car and "promised" to sell it in a matter of a few weeks for $2,000 more than I had it listed on Autotrader for and $5,000 more than any dealer would give me on a trade, "guarenteed"! I got a lot of calls from people saying they could assist me in selling the vehicle and promptly blew them off. I'll give him this, Mr Hovey is persistant!
"Your car is like gold. I sell every Mercedes 4-matic I get. I can't get enough of them to sell. I guarentee that it will be gone in a week or two. This is prime selling season and my dealership on Rt. 1 is in the best possible location. You can't sell a car in your driveway, but I certainly will sell it on my lot."
After begging me to bring the car down to "his" lot because he had a buyer that wanted to see it and buy it, I reluctantly agreed.
To make a long story short, Mr. Hovey failed to sell the vehicle after well over a month on "his" lot and FAILED to return my car key, telling me it had been "mis-placed". He promised repeatedly to return or replace my key, but never has and now doesn't return my calls.
In my opinion, Mr Hovey engages in mis-leading and deceptive sales tactics and is only interested in getting an upfront fee. He has yet to return my car key! Be aware, the Skyline lot is not "his", he only rents an office, which I learned after the fact.in my opinion, this is not a place you want to do business with.
