If I had investigated NE Autographs sooner, I would have discovered the many reports of fraudulent products that they have sold to dozens of victims. I am sad to be among many who have posted here as long as almost a year ago. So, sorry everyone, NE Autographs is still committing these crimes.
I had found NE Autographs (www.neautograph.com) via a Google search. They appeared right at the top of the list and had extremely reasonable prices for hard to find signed movie posters. The website seems very legitimate and is laced with testimonials with promises of a money back guarantee and all items come with a COA from their company (which turns out to be printed on stationary from Edward's Autograph's, Inc. With no seal and no signature).
I purchased two rare steals and realized immediately when I received the first one that several of the signatures did not look right. I began finding signatures to compare to and realized I had been scammed. I have contacted the company several times via email (there is no phone number listed) and received responses until I questioned their COA. I have emailed several times since and have not heard back. Now that I have read these other reports I know I will not hear back.
I have read several other reports filed on this company. One victim said that they contacted their card company and they were able to receive a charge back for the purchase price (thank you, Frederick). I have investigated this option and am happy to report that there is hope.
What I will need to do next is get a report from an authentication company validating that the signatures are false. Then I am to send the report, along with forms the credit card company is providing me, and I will receive my money back (they will take the money back from the company). Yes, it will cost me to get the report from the authentication company, but it will not be nearly as much as NE scammed me for ($275.00). But, wait, there's more...
According to my creditor, if people who have been a victim keep reporting to creditors that this company is fraudulent, and if there are more charge backs that are issued back to the consumers, the bank who is supporting this company's assets will eventually drop them.
I will be moving forward with my claim and will help to build a case against these criminals. So, if you have been a victim of this company, contact your creditor and see what can be done to help you get your money back!
