NE Autographs/neautograph.com is a company that sells autographed movie posters with very reasonable prices. I unfortunately discovered why their prices are so reasonable first hand. I first discovered this web site from google.com and searched "autograph movie poster" and this company was featured at the very top in the highlighted field, so it wasn't hard to find.
Everything about their web site looks legitimate and all items come with a COA from their company. I didn't know at the time that a COA is meaningless unless the COA comes from a credible 3rd party. I purchased a "Dark Knight" poster that was allegedly signed by the main cast including the late, Heath Ledger. The poster was missing a signature of one of the main actors, Aaron Eckhart so I was searching some "autograph seeking" web sites to inquire on getting that signature myself.
Many of the members on these web sites were interested in my purchase in main part to Heath Ledger's autograph. When I shared the name of the company that I made my purchase with, I received responses from multiple members that were questioning the legitimacy of my item. They sent me different web sites that claimed that NE Autograph sold fraudulent signatures and that they were even being investigated by the FBI (the FBI referred me to you). Needless to say this made me very uncomfortable.
I'm well aware of the number of fraudulent autographs out there but I had no idea that a company that appeared to be this legitimate would fall into that category. It was then suggested to get my poster authenticated through PSA/DNA, the most credible authentication company in the business. I didn't want to do that through the mail so I waited until they were appearing at an autograph show in San Jose, CA so I could have it done in person. PSA/DNA found the signatures on my poster to be fraudulent!
I paid $100 on top of what I had already paid NE Autograph for the poster to have the authentication done. I've tried contacting NE Autograph by email (they have no given phone number) and I let them know what happened and that I, of course, demand a full refund. They have yet to respond. Neautograph.com is still a running web site and they not only still offer the same poster that I bought from them, but they have updated their web site with new items since my purchase. How can this be?
I would love to get back money back, God knows I need it, but I would much rather see these criminals put out of business and hopefully behind bars where they belong. Please let me know if I can assist in any way. I have NE Autograph's COA, PSA/DNA's letter stating that the signatures are fraudulent, and of course the poster itself that I'd be happy to donate to your or anyone's investigation against NE Autograph. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated by not only me and the other victims of this company, but the future victims of this company. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.
