I goggled autographs of rock bands etc and I got autographs america.com pop up and I went on the site and I bought an Allman brothers band album I received a certificate of authenticity. I believe now that I have been the victim of fraud because I believe that these are fake signatures and I am in a process of checking that out and here is the topper they emailed me that their merchendise is now 90% off and to come check their web site out!
I did and I logged in to check out the prices and I wanted to see the amount of one album the Beatles band and it was still to much money.
I then logged off and Never placed an order ever.
The next day as I checked my bank account for balancing my account and I seen that a fraudlent charge of 362.00 was withdrawn out of my account,
I then seen it was from autographs america and I called them immediately and this female that refused to give me her name, I said how did you get my credit (debit) crad number? And she replied we keep i on file, I said What, You had no right to keep my card on file I gave you no permission to do that! And she replied well when you log in what ever you click n you purchased it and you will not get any money back!
To bad she replied and hung up on me, I then called her back and left a message because the voicemail picked up, and I also emailed them that they had no right to charge my card and had no right to keep my credit (debit) card info on file and that they had no auothorization to do this and I was reporting them to the police and my bank if they did not give me my money back!
They never replied back to my email.
I went to my bank and my bank called them up on a three way call and she said from autograghs america that she talked to me last night and she sent me an email earlier before the bank call telling me they were going to credit my money back and after several days No credit was made on my bank account so the female from autographs america lied!
I the reported it to claims fraud dept again at my bank and then I received a call from a man from autographs america and he said that he had every right do keep my credit card info and to chrage my account and I told him I never hiy summit or place an order or had no authority to do this and I never gave my credit (debit) card info cause I never placed this order!
He then replyed, I will never get my money back! And what was I going to do about it he was out of state and there was nothing I could do and he also said that was how he made his money! I then replied what? What is your name? And he refused to give it! At one point he said he was the owner but no name.
I told him I was contacting every known agency I can legally to report him and he said fine its not the first!
He then hung up on me.
I cannot believe that they keep your credit (debit) card no which they have no authorization to do so and to say thats how they make there money, I never received the album I was fraudulently charged for and that I didnt order and now I am investagting the allman brothers band album that I purchases approx months prior, I have been told that is a fake the signatures and I have been r ipped off by them as well, and my bank has reinbursed me for the fraudulent charge, and all the fees that I occurred for the fraudulent charge by aurographs america.com.
I went through a nightmare with autographs america and the harassment they put me through.
Beware of this company.
