Early Online Payment Applied Late, Over $700 Fees, Card Canceled

I had a no interest no finance charge for dental work. The last payment was paid online 3 days early and to my surprise (I should have known) GE Money Bank applied the payment late and then had the nerve to charge me a late fee, interest and finance charge in excess of $700. Which in turn, put my account over the limit, when I called to question the charges, they cancelled the card and refused talk to me about the fees.
