Within the last three weeks our home was burglarized, on Nov. 17th and Dec. 1st. At the last break-in, they decided to yank the alarm system off the wall and had wires cut. My husband called and notified Pinnacle Security on the same day. He was told that they will get back to him in a couple of days to arrange for an appt. I had called them on Dec. 2 to find out what was the status because a message was left at home stating they had received a communication failure. The rep. I spoke to over the phone took down the info again and said he was sending an email of no protection out and told me to call back to speak to a supervisor. I called on Fri., Dec. 4th and the rep. Told me that he needed to know if the equipment was damaged and if so, then they will have to ship out a new one and then send someone over to install it. We are very highly angry and upset over this matter and service. First of all, this co. Had approached my husband on June, 09 even though we already had an alarm system hooked up, they managed to swindle their way into our home, scam us by telling us that the co. We currently had were not legit and that they didn't even have us connected to reach directly the police or fire dept. And of course, we believed him and he got us to sign up and lock into a three-year contract. He hooked up brand new equipment but no panic button at all. After, sending a letter of cancellation to the old co., we ended up telephoning them when we noticed that they were still deducting the monthly fee directly from our bank account and then to be told that they were still in business but that another company had bought them so their name had changed and that we were scammed and that we are still liable to pay the balance on their contract. We are looking to cancel the contract with Pinnacle Security as soon as possible and not be liable nor asked to owe them a balance of any kind and due to them being situated in the mid-west and not being able to reach us nor get to us quicker during an emergency situation when needed. Their integrity, reputation and service has been unacceptable. We need help with this problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention and consideration to this matter.
