My name is K. Parker. My fiance purchased a diamond engagement ring from me on October 13th of 2009 from Reeds Jewelers in Greenville SC at Haywood Mall. He is the sole account holder. No more than a month after the purchase date,
A diamond fell out of the ring. When I took the ring back to the store they promised me a date to pick the ring up. I called on the promised date, only to be told that the ring was still with the jeweler being repaired. The store manager was very rude and told me that the damage was my fault, that I should consider not wearing my ring with my wedding band and even take it off at bedtime, and that it would be another three days becuase the replacement was on "back-order". Today was the next promised date and yet again, Reeds has failed to make good on their promise. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way the associates and store manager are handling this situation, as they are refusing to close the account or at least give me a replacement. Should they fail to return our first monthly payment and close the account for my fiance, we will be forced to pursue legal charges.
