I was promised $550 per week. All I had to do was go to 2.5 days of training all day. They gave me a vacuum cleaner and took me on demonstration appointments to show me how to demonstrate the vacuum cleaner. After 4 days of training, I went out on my own to sell. I sold a vacuum on the first appointment I went alone. The consumer didn't pass the credit test. I was disappointed because I didn't get credit for it. I sold another vacuum cleaner a couple of days later. I was on cloud nine! I have worked 2.5 weeks now and I have not been paid 1 penny. I asked when will I be paid. The answer was, when you demonstrate 15 times in one week. And since the company is scheduling my appointments, they are making sure I do not have 15 appointments a week. I passed in more than 25 referrals. Most of these were not assigned to me and I was not aware I was not going to be the person demonstrating to my referrals. Someone else did!
When I started with this company, there were 6 other people in my 'demonstration class'. I am the only one remaining. I was told the others didn't work out. Ha, the joke is on me. They all got the picture early on. Me, being 19 years old, looking for my first job out of high school was hook winked big time. They also told me I was hired on as a sub-contractor... Meaning NO BENEFITS and I had to pay my own taxes. Well, no payment, no taxes. BEWARE of this company. Do not get sucked into their scam.
