I started working for kirby 3 days ago... Worst mistake of my life. Lol. The lady that hired me seemed very nice and someone I could trust. After learning that the kind of work I would be doing was. Selling vacuum cleaners.!? The job I would actually be doing... Well It was nothing like the job description they had promised me. On the 2nd day of my training I found out we wouldn't be compensated for any training, work, or hours we put in until the end of the month. When I found this out I was very upset. So I called my "manager" to let her know I wouldn't be coming back because I had a car payment due in 3 weeks and that was the main reason for rushing into this lame ass job selling vacuum cleaners so fast. She promised me that I would be getting the $400 promised paid to me in 2 weeks. I trusted her. How many people would put a 19 year-old girl in an even worse situation then she is already in. It seemed as if she had a heart, lol. Well I was wrong... Today (day 3 of training) I had to take home this stupid vacuum cleaner. And I was stupid enough to sign that contract. I came home and showed my mom and grandma the contract and they both thought it was BS! So I decided to do some research... All night I have been reading post after post... Of all these horrific stories. The hours are RIDICULOUS 10/13 hour days??! 6 days a week. So now I'm stuck with this stupid vacuum cleaner until I can drop it off tomorrow and not to mention the past week I spent on this job and the $50 in gas. Now I'm another week behind in trying to save my car. These people are evil and unethical the manager knew my situation and still persisted to lie to my face. That is what I call heartless scum!: (
&What this company does is sucker young good looking girls in and uses us girls to get people to open there homes up to them. Once that happens they pressure people in there own home to buy this $2,000 vacuum THAT THEY DONT NEED and then when they make the profit from tricking these people into ruining there credit none of us employees will even get paid. I think its just outright evil. Its bad for the buyer and the employee.
... Don't ever work or buy from kirby. End of story. It will save you time and money.
