The Los Angeles County District Attorney was sworn into office to "protect and serve" all the citizens residing in Los Angeles County.
He refuses to protect or serve elderly, widowed, senior women from predatory criminals. Point in case, more than 18 months ago, I presented the D A's office with a case of elder financial abuse. The case was clear cut and simple. While the DA's office was out chasing "contractors" who bid on $300 jobs without a license, 3 "contractors" acting in concert, took an elderly (now) 87 year old widow to the financial cleaners. 1st they took her life savings, next they ran a bulldozer through her house that they were "remodeling" and lastly after receiving the entire project demand in cash, (more than $265,00-again in violation of the law) they abandoned her and her now demolished house.
