This same scam is listed on this website about 2o times and all the info is the same.
my husband was driving home from work and this guy stops him with his suv on franklin avenue in lynbrook to ask for directions to jfk airport. Then proceeds to tell him this long story about going home to italy and has these very expensive leather coats and does not want to take them back on the plane... He had a strong accent and very pushy. He showed his passport said his name was giovani well dressed about 48 years in age the guy in the car with him was bald he insisited they were $12o0 leather and suede jackets and my husband could give me whatever money he had and kept throwing jackets into a bag. So $360 later... We have 6 a collezioni fake jackets no care instructions or fabric content on any jackets all coming out of canvas a collizioni bags..
be aware this guy is slick.
