I injured my right shoulder on the job and sent to U.S. Health Works where I was misdiagnosed with shoulder strain and sent back to work, when in reality I had a piece of cartilage that had torn loose and was floating around tearing up the muscles and tendons in my shoulder, this went on for six months until I was sent to a specialist who diagnosed that 2 surgical operations were required. After the surgery I underwent 9 months of physical therapy, light duty and all kinds of pain killers and muscle relaxers. I was then sent back to work as a cashier, which violated my weight restrictions and caused me to start missing days of work because of the pain. I was then let go for tardiness and told I could reapply for a different job, which never appeared, so now I am unable to find suitable work, living in a homeless shelter and pennyless.
