I too read some small ad about how a so called "Mom" whitened her teeth using 2 free trials and fell for it. I should have scrolled to the bottom of the page and checked "Terms & Conditions". I always do this now and have saved myself from other scams.
I received the free trial from Dentech whitening and Dazzlewhite and thought I had cancelled them both but no I found out the hard way. Once I did cancel it in writing as they say you have to do in very small print I was billed for another shipment the next day.
I saw several charges on my card using names I never signed up with and that is when I knew I was in trouble. If the company has to keep changing their name and 800# that is a very bad sign. I was getting charged by their other names and could not get any money refunded.
I no longer do these so called "free trials" because they end up getting your money one way or another. I have also learned to keep very good records which always stops them. I write down the name of the person I spoke with, the date and the time. When I can tell them the exact time I spoke with them it usuallu stops them mid-sentence!
I would really like to thank the anymous consumer who filed the consumer complaints from Stamping Ground, Kentucky. That person provided all the phone numbers we need to cancel the numerous accounts this company automatically sets you up with when you agree to their phony "free trial". If I had not seen those phone numbers and called I would have been getting billed from 2 more things I did not even know about yet - one was "membership" to their website. Who do those people think they are and why do they get away with it??!! Isn't there a law to protect us from criminals like this?
