My husband and I wanted to purchase a short sale from Brett Becker. He is the owner of Pizzazz Uniforms and Uniformdiscounts.com. Since he needed bank approval and the process was going to take too long, we agreed to lease the property from Brett beginning August 3. When our 18-wheel moving truck arrived on August 4, they were denied entrance by the Home Owner's Association (HOA).
According to the assistant manager of the HOA, Mr. Becker was in arrears on his monthly HOA assessments and we would not be allowed to exercise our lease. At that point, we had given Mr. Becker a $2000 deposit and our one month rent of $2800.
In addition, I had the carpets professionally steamed cleaned and have been running the electricity in my name. Mr. Becker was properly notified that if we did not receive our money in a timely manner, we would take appropriate action. As I look on the internet for information that my attorney has requested, I have found numerous complaints about Mr. Becker's company (Uniformdiscounts.com). I feel that it is my duty to prevent others from dealing with this type of person.
