Not even a year ago, my boyfriend and I bought a Serta mattress form Americas Mattress. After sleeping on it for a year, it had a 2 inch sag in it, and was so uncomfortable, we couldn't even sleep on it anymore. So we called "Nate" at Americas Mattress and told him about our problem. He told us to go buy string and some washers and drape the string over the mattress and measure with a ruler how far the mattress had sagged, and to take a picture and email it to him. We did so, and after about a week and a half he finally got back to us and said everything was good to go. I then inquired about getting a credit for what our mattress was worth and put it to a purchase of another, more expensive mattress, in fear of the same problem happening with the same mattress. He told us that this would be no problem, so we went to the store, about an hour away from our house and picked out a new serta memory foam mattress. After putting this mattress on our credit card, and after him charging us 50$ to deliver our new mattress to our house (which is ridiculous because if the mattress wouldn't have went bad we wouldn't need a new one delivered, not our problem! But i wanted a new mattress so bad at that point I just made the sacrifice, not to suffer anymore with the old mattress) So, we waited for the new mattress to come in and then for him to come deliver it. I was at a family outing while my boyfriend stayed home waiting for "Nate" to come and deliver our mattress. So, I get a call about 20 minutes after he was scheduled to come to my boyfriend saying, uh we have a problem hes not going to take our mattress. He proceeded to tell my boyfriend that our mattress was in the worst shape he had ever seen. Which was crazy! There was one slight tear in the mattress that was put there by Mr. "Nate" himself, when a year earlier he shoved out mattress on top of our SUV and got it caught on the luggage rack. So he said that he could not take the mattress for warranty, because it was "abused". So I had talked to him when he was at the house, and told him that I was immediately leaving my family outing and I would be right there, and not to leave, he said ok and hung up. On my 8 minute drive home I got about 1 mile from my house to see an America's Mattress truck driving right by me. About 2 seconds after that my phone rang it was my boyfriend telling me that he left!!! So I come home to, no mattress guy, no new mattress, and my old piece of crap mattress STILL there. After about a week of blowing me off and making excuses when I called the store, he informed us that our 10 year warranty was VOID and we would not be receiving our new mattress! I would EXTREMLY caution you NOT to ever buy ANY mattress from an America's Mattress, or buy a Serta Mattress, because I believe they were both in on it! Caution!!! So the ending to our story was, we told "Nate" to go shove it and bought a TEMPURPEDIC!!!
