I recieved a letter claming that I had won $250,000. There was a check with the letter to cover the "Non-Canadian Residential Tax" which was for $4,965.44.
In order to recieve this claim I was to call my claim agent, Carol Milton at 778-316-2398. Then I was to make the payment to my tax agent, Evalina Rodchester sent via money gram or western union.
I actually called my "claim agent" to see what she would say. I was told to take the check to the bank and cash it then to call her back and she would give me further instructions. She also told me not to take the letter to the bank or to show it to anybody else claiming that somebody could call in saying they were me.
The claim number on my letter is ORS-890076-ZL. The address that I was supposed to send the money to is 706 Fermount Ave, Coldlake, Canada.
I also did a reverse lookup on the claim agent and the president, Darrall R. Bradshaw, and both numbers came up cell numbers.
I just hope someone doesn't actually fall for this.
