Pacific Monarch Resorts, Cancun Resort, Cabul Azul, Cedar Breaks Lodge, Desert Isle, Palm Canyon
Riviera Beach, Riviera Oaks, Riviera Shores, Tahoe Seasons. Bait and Switch, Promised my wife and I Japan was a covered destination, It was not. And Las Vegas

My wife and I signed up for a free car at a local mall and were subsequently offered to attend a free presentation Of Pacific Monarch Grand vacations at the local Pacific Monarch Cancun Resort here in Las Vegas. We thought, Why not, we don't go to resorts, but we do go to Japan every other year for a week or so.

We were told that we would be property owners with Pacific Monarch Resorts and we could hand this down to our children and our childrens children. We were told we could spend our time at exotic resorts all over the world. This was interesting to us, but only if Japan was available as a travel destination. My wife is Japanese and we like to visit Japan every year or so. We don't go anywhere else or have any want to go anywhere else.

My wife and I thought about this and decided on the every other year program. We were repeatedly reassured that Japan was an available destination. They even wanted our childrens names so the (property) would pass to them in the event of our demise.

I used a credit card for the down payment, and we were set up on a payment plan to pay the balance. We began making our payments and were looking forward to our first trip. We then began receiving bills for maintenance fees. These fees were never dicussed before. We started looking deeper into the whole package and then found out Japan was not even offered as a travel destination.

We we confronted Pacific Monarch about this, they basically said, "You signed a contract", to bad. This became very stressful for my wife and I. We felt we had been bated and switched and we were right. We stopped making payments for a few months and recieved many theatening phone calls and letters.

This company had stolen thousands of dollars from us and they wanted more.
We received nothing from them in return for our money. They flat lied to us and I'm sure many other people also. They have put a major derogatory mark on our credit report.

I am going to be speaking to Michael Moore about a film featuring the lieing and misrepresentation existing in the timeshare industry. I actually added up the 2 years of maintenance fees and found I and my wife could go on a vey nice vacation with out the lifetime of liability and debt associated with owning a Pacific Monarch Property share. What a farce this con game is. Known as the timeshare industry.

Pacific Monarch Resorts... See you and your CEO in the movies...
