Last fall I was contacted by someone who claimed to be with Reader's Digest. He oozed charm as he praised me for my long subscription history.
He then offered me a special deal if I would sign up for a 4-yr subscription at a new low rate which would be deducted from my credit card at $29.99 each month for 4 months. I agreed because I didn't have my subscription history readily available.
The 4 payments were deducted from my credit card, but recently I began to receive renewal notices in the mail from Reader's Digest. Today I was contacted by a company representative who informed me that it was time to renew! I Googled Magazine Union Readers and discovered I had been ripped off. I then decided to write this report to save others from the same thing.
