1. Quote was extremely underestimated in time and cost. Actual move took ten hours instead of four and cost $2434.00 vs. 465
2. My heirloom gold toned flatware set was stolen or lost
3. My five year old child's bunk bed was not put together (top is disconnected to bottom) - MAJOR SAFETY issue, and wheel wasn't connected on the bottom bed (three screws were found laying by the caster / rolling wheel).
4. Not to mention extra moving supplies that were not quoted, negotiated or discussed.in fact, I was told all basic supplies was included.
I expected the cost to be a bit more due to how much stuff I have and utilizing some of your packing supplies but was expecting 1000-1500. I understand the job took longer, but I told Ruben many many times that I had a lot of stuff. He confirmed they would be done in 4-5 hours, and should have been honest with the time it would take so I could prepare for the real cost. Once your house is half packed, you can't change your mind.
Also, regarding the bed not being put together... I paid a lot of money for the convenience of assembly at the new home. I don't appreciate my son sleeping in an unsafe bed for a whole week and now I have to coordinate someone to help me - not to mention I don't know where the screws are. I just hope they are in the room, or I will have to take time to go to the hardware store etc.
Angry that I was taken advantage of!
