I made a purchase March 29. I called several times when I did not receive my order in a timely fashion. When I finally received my order it was dried out and the plants looked dead.
Needless to say most of the plants did not grow. I called and was told to send the label to them and I would receive replacements. I sent the label and a letter requesting a replacements for items that did not grow. I heard nothing back from them. I called several times over the summer of 2008 and was told maybe the label had been lost in the mail or they had received the label and it had not been added to their computer yet.
I called them back in the fall of 2008. I was told they were short some of the items and would ship in the spring of 2009. Needless to say I never received the replacement items. I called April 26, June 30, and June 14. Each time I was told someone would call me back. I received no calls back.
Now the warranity is no good and Grace Avery does not speak on the phone to customers. After checking the Internet I found Richard Owen Nursery has 425 complaints against them by the Better Business Bureau.
Now I can see why Richard Owen Nursery was not concerned when I told them I would contact the Better Business Bureau and warn others about how they conduct their nursery business. Why change when you have 425 complaints against your business?
