Donald Burkeen claims to be the Hiring Manager for Dell Computers. He says that he is conducting an interview that they only can do through yahoo messanger. When asked for a phone number or business address he said that they can't give out the phone number or conduct phone interviews because the security isn't able to pick the call up.
I know Dell has many phone numbers that receive incoming calls and that they also have many physical addresses so I thought that this was a bit strange. Once he told me that he couldn't give me a phone number, I searched through the Dell website and have attempted to speak to someone who would be able to help me. No one has heard of Donald Burkeen.
Donald Burkeen asks you to provide him with your address and phone numbers as well as what bank you use so that he could get you your pay check via-direct deposit. This is 100% a scam. He tells you that in order to do this data input job for Dell you need to purchase software which will cost you $300 and that you have to go through one of the agents that he would set you up with. He claimed that he would reimburse me and that I would just have to trust him to do so.
I am thankful that I never gave him any real information or lost any money in this transaction. If you google his name you can find out more, as I did. Do not fall for this because in the end you will be the one that is hurting.
