My email thread exposes flaw in GDI sponsoring

FYI Leo,

If Network Star Team is not affiliated with GDI, how did they get a website without becoming a member? Http://www.gdistarplan. Ws/

Hello Leo,

Thank you for your quick response.in context with what I have expressed here what you are telling me is, if I decide to create a program which is designed to hijack members away from their sponsors, I could get away with it as long as they join me on a voluntary basis.network Star Team said that they are giving unsuccessful marketers a second chance. However, one of their members approached me in my GDI forum inbox just days after I signed up last January.

I just recently decided to try their program to see how it worked. It soon became obvious to me what was going on was unethical. Also, please note that I included recent BBB report statistics in my thread. I have stood up for GDI in a complaint rebuttal. If you allow other members to hijack those I sponsor, then I regret what I have said. I will also not continue to do business with GDI under these circumstances. Your BBB rating will remain poor as long as GDI allows this unethical practice to continue. Your turnover rate will remain higher than you will want if you intend to continue doing business over the long term without addressing this issue.in my opinion, Network Star Team could have just as well included existing members in their GDI Star Plan rotation program.

I will terminate my membership today. Please delete my account from your database.

Thank you,

Good Morning Lee,

Thank you for your e-mail. First, please be aware that the third party program to which you are referring is in no way affiliated with Global Domains International. This program was created and is administered by private individuals who have chosen to offer the opportunity to members of our program. Much like the 'Network Star Team' there are countless other marketing programs available to our members online, some of which are completely free while others do charge a monthly, annual, or one time fee to join. Participation in these programs is completely optional and is entirely up to each individual affiliate member. Many of our members choose not to participate in any programs of this nature and are still successful in their marketing efforts.

We have reviewed the thread provided below regarding the policies of 'The Network Star Team' and have been unable to locate any direct conflicts with our own policies. Based on the information provided by the support team for this program, as well as the information provided on their website, it appears that you would not be required to cancel your current account and sign up under an alternate sponsor in order to participate in the program. As stated within the thread below, as well as at the previous URL provided by the support staff at the 'Network Star Team', a second option is available to current members which will allow them to participate by paying a fee. This does not violate the Global Domains International policy as all of our members do in fact have the option of participating without cancelling their current accounts and creating a new account under the administrators of this program. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact us by replying to this e-mail.

Kindest Regards,

Leo

I received more communication with Network Star Team. I want your comparison of their policies and your terms soon. This seems to be a conflict of interest to me and continuing my GDI membership hangs on your word.

One thing that adds to the difficulty of promoting GDI is the Better Business Bureau reports (giving GDI a C rating) and The complaints having so many negative posts from dissatisfied members. Granted, most of these people have no clue as to what GDI is all about. Looking deeper into the BBB report reveals that GDI has resolved most of the customer complaints. Given the size of the company, the complaints are a very small percentage. GDI's biggest problem is the unethical behavior of some of their members. Perhaps no one has thought your GDI Star Plan through to voice an opinion like mine.

I find that having to wave goodbye to those who have sponsored me to join you to be walking a fine line. Your GDI Star Plan looks like a great way for you to hijack a sponsor's downline, like my existing sponsor in Africa. To work with you, without cancelling my existing membership, would soon have me competing against myself as those I sponsor would likely go to the GDI Star Plan. As I suggested earlier, perhaps there is a way for you to include existing members in your GDI Star Plan rotation. I have already inquired about your policy with GDI's support team. I am waiting to see what they have to say about your practice of promoting the business with regards to their terms before I say any more.

I do know this. I will no longer do business with The Network Star Team until your policy does justice to members' upline sponsors. Please erase my NST membership from your database today. My user ID is Wheelsafire18

Hello!

We never send auto responses to our members.

This is the way we work for a few years now and noone has ever sent any complaints of this kind.

In gdistarplan. Ws website it says clearly that this rotation method is for people who struggle to build their business, meaning that these people are not making any money with their current GDI sponsors.
So we are giving them a 2nd chance to get a better deal and make some money.

A smart guy like you should also have seen this and not only all the other things, so don't be in such a hurry and malevolence to report us.

Thank you and have a great successful business!

Typical response I expected. Was it sent by an autoresponder? You clearly did not understand what I was saying. I agree, you do not force anyone to cancel their existing GDI membership up front. You do it by default. Any thinking person that can play a fair game of chess knows that, under these circumstances, anyone I sponsor into GDI membership will then see that canceling their GDI membership and joining you would be more advantageous. If I quit my existing account and join you, all my upline will lose business. That's a bad deal all around to me. I am deleting my account now and reporting your coercive abuse to GDI and the complaint.

Hello, Lee!

Thank you for contacting us.

Actually, we do not force any of our members to cancel their existing GDI account and rejoin under us.
We give you 2 options:

1. You cancel and rejoin under us.

2. You keep your existing account and you simply enter our GDI Star Plan by paying a small fee.

You may read full details about this option in gdistarplan. Ws website.

You may also choose not to participate in GDI Star Plan and just follow the Network Star Team system to promote your GDI.

If you need anything else, let us know.

NST Admin.

Message: I now have a problem. I have an existing GDI account with 2 websites. One I use for advertising. The other for trucker stories and affiliate marketing. I joined Network Star Team to promote my GDI business. Now I find out, after becoming a Pro member, that your GDI Star Plan would require me to cancel my existing GDI account to get the desired results. That means dumping my original GDI sponsor, too?!

If I keep my existing account, those I sponsor may dump me for the same reason. This is unacceptable! I suggest you simply allow existing GDI members to participate in your GDI Star Plan rotation the same as everybody else. Otherwise, I have no choice but to cancel my Network Star Team membership due to a conflict of interest. Keeping my existing GDI account only to end up competing with your GDI Star Plan would be an exercise in futility.
