My Mom, whom is 76 years old and recently received a letter from this company/persons, had a stroke in August. She was in Madrid Spain in May celebrating her 75th birthday. I am her power of attorney for both her health issues and her finacial issues.
She recevied a letter from this company/persons stating that she won $4,200, 000.00. Of course, my immediate response was "this is a scam." I googled the name "La Primitiva INTL, LOTERIA" and as I already knew, it was a scam.
The letter states she was drawn as a winner on May 22nd. The letter states that she must call and contact her claims agent, Mr. Jose Gomez, and she must appear at their office in Madrid, Spain, during the processing to sign all legal papers.
I emailed this "agent" and attached a copy of the consumer report website I read. I have not received a response as of today.
Several people have received this same letter over the last few years and have filed reports.
Beware, scammers are everywhere!
