My friend used Lynsey Stone Photography to take pictures of her sons birth and although the pictures were great she was screwed in the end!!! It has been one headache after another because apparently LYNSEY keeps ALL copyrights and although my friend paid a nice amount of money for the pictures, she's not allowed to display them anywhere but the FEW places LYNSEY will allow.
Since when did the photographer decide what happens to the pictures you purchase??? I can understand this happening with unpurchased pictures but this is crazy!!! However, LYNSEY apparently can display them on her website without ANY consent from my friend!!! And these aren't just any pictures. They are PRIVATE pictures of her childs birth!!! How is THAT legal!!!??? Now my friend has had to hire a lawyer and pay even MORE money just so this can get settled!!! Please do not use lynsey stone photography!!! I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this!!!
