Beware of Charges & Unprofessional Pictures

On 8/19/07, we took our son to Studio One for his first pictures. We were so excited. We had no idea that we would be horrified with the experience.

To make this long story short, the problems that we experience were: evasive pricing, poor pictures, i.E. Our son's head was cut off in the pictures, we didn't receive what we ordered (ordered bronze pictures, but received black and white photos), the pictures had white borders, and the size of the pictures did not fit into the frames. We paid $539.75 for the pictures that were ordered.

I did complain to the Wellington store along with their corporate office. All I wanted was a portion of my money back for the horrible service that we received. When I spoke to Marie, the Marketing Manager, she offered that she send me a CD of the pictures. Why would I want a CD of pictures that were horrible.

I was also contacted by Jim Nichols via email. He emailed me to provide no assistance. Here is a line from an email he sent me "As I stated, no other company does this and we don't just give people refunds when they later decide they don't like the prints, and don't want to return them. If you were that unhappy with your experience and our product you should have simply gone somewhere else, and you can still get a refund and do exactly that."

So please beware and do NOT go to a Studio One to One Photography.
