We have had trouble with Saxon Mortgage for over two years now. We had insurance put on that wasn't needed, told we owed attorney fees, late fees and home inspection ($9.50) that we never owed. This is our second attempt on modifiying our loan only to find out all they did for us was freeze the account for 5 years and tell us we owe them $858.00 /- more on top of our regular mortgage payment.
Now they tell us we're a month late on our mortgage and want that payment also in order to go through with the modification. When told we are current and could prove that, I was told that I could file an appeal which could take weeks. For what??? We never owed them anything and now they're going to ruin what's left of our credit and show a late payment.
This company doesn't deserve any taxpayers money! They treat people like the dirt on the bottom of their shoes and I will speak for myself that I am so sick of this and sick of the worry that it's coming to the point that they can take the house. It's really sad that this is allowed to go on in this country... Really, really sad.
