I recieved the same letter that others have received. Yes, I enter a lot of sweepstakes, but I also know a scam when I see it. This one can be seen from a mile away. First, the grammar in the letter is no better than the Nigerian Lottery emails that I receive. Second, and most important, if you are a winner in a legitimate sweepstakes, you NEVER have to pay. If you win a small prize, they just send it to you. If you receive a big prize, you generally have to fill out forms, get notarized and return within 14 days.
Don't fall for this one. Don't even think about sending money. But, don't throw away the letter. Do what I did - file an official complaint with the Nevada Attorney General's office and send copies of the letter to them. Maybe, when they receive enough letters, they'll put these con artists out of business.
