I have been all over the US and worked with people majority of my career and never have I ever witnesses poor Customer Service. The way they take advantage of their consumers is crazy. This walmart will have 1 or 2 cashiers on pass 10pm knowing alot of people come in to beat the crowds, but not here there is still a crowd when you check out. One night I was at Register 6 working my tail off, it was father's day ever and for some reason it was crazy. Now this is the only retail store for 20mins radius, (Sad!) There is no competittion around for miles so they feel they can run their customers any o way. Anyways I was working till midnight that night and when I turned to the right coming from stationary walking from clocking out, swear to GOD that there were at least 25 people stuck in line I never seen a line that outrageous, not once did they call for stockers to jump on the registers or did any of the managers, but let it be the big bosses walking around they will have everyone on one to make it look like they care. So anyways my fiance was outraged that this happens, so he started to chant " CALL 1-800-WALMART and tell them you will not stand for this sh*%.. At first I was embarrassed but realized that he was right that is not the way to run a buisness and I can't work for someone who dont' go by what they say on the TV to pull the consumers in. I have never seen such rudeness and nastiness, in one store. They don't want to give the hours out but want you work your a* off and come right back in and do it again within hours. Your whole life has to be Walmart, Dr notes don't count as an excuse absence even if you are in the hospital dying they don't care. They hire sex offenders can you imagine a register sex offender. They don't fire anyone for using Racial Slurs towards anyone of color, but they will fire someone who makes a gay slur.
I had a incident where a fellow employee was so adamant with the saying " N*&%&rs will always be N*&%&rs, there are only two people in this world whites and blacks" Then I looked at him, without him knowing that my kids are black that " Then there is me" who is the melting pot of America. They just sent him home with pay. Bull! So I quit I am tired of working in a area I am not comfortable with the employees I work with.
