Just like many others, Today I got into this trap of buying this fake one's. I was pumping in the gas station before flying out of Salt lake and he approached me with a big smile and a very nice italian accent. I am an indian, so he said he started telling story that he his in salt lake for a sales pitch and he has some left out jackets which he doesn't want to carry back to Italy and he showed his passport and his tickets along with Rental Agreement ie. Advantage Car rental company. He showed me a jacket actually which looks nice and asked me to touch it and feel it. Since I am from Chicago, I kind of felt to buy atleast one even if it is fake. He asked for 400 dollars, then I had only 70 dollars in my pocket and he insisted on giving me atleast 200 dollars for 5 jackets. Like a DUMBOOO. I ran to the Gas station ATM and withdraw rest of the money and gave him. Then I was thinking may be to check back on the prices of these jackets and I found each jacket worth about 400 dollars. Stop. Not Mine. You can easily make out it's a FAKE one. I am like a fool. I bought it and I want to inform others in the salt lake or any other city, if any one approaches with this kind of stuff. First ask them for dirt cheap like in my case may be not more than 50 dollars. He would have either walked off or he would still throw that to you if he his desperate... Please don't get fouled like me.
Of course, I will be careful in future on this kind of stuff... I always believed in a say " WHAT YOU PAY IS WHAT YOU GET " In Real world this holds true.
