Just like the other two guys, I was ripped off too. This Italian man approached me and explained that he was returning to Italy, and had to get rid of excess jackets or pay duty on them. He was driving a very late model dark gray Jeep Cherokee. He seemed very believable, even for a skeptic like me.
He told me that if I buy one jacket for $700, he's throw in three more. The price then went down to $300, then to $250.
I came back with only $180, so he took one jacket back.
All the time, I knew this was a scam, but the jackets were really nice.
In the end, I wound up with three (probably fake) nice jackets for $180. Two of them fit superbly, so I guess I can't complain. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is!
If you meet this guy, drive a REALLY hard bargain, and know that you're getting a fake jacket.
