I helped a friend who needed money because of a sick family member. So I went to Title Max in Charleston, S.C. Not knowing the ureal world of Ripp Off I was getting into.
The loan was for $1200. And pay back so far is over $4000. And climbing. This is the worst nightmare of my life. I lost my job because of the economy. So I have to scrape up $169.00 a month which is hard with no income. Every two weeks late they add a $75.00 late fee. And I get threating calls and letters placed ON MY FRONT DOOR!
These scam Title Max companies need to be put out of business. Please write your State Officals and who ever can get these Riff Offs out of this Contry. They are worst than Maifia legall Loan Sharks and prey on people's cars that have no credit. Then fix it so hard to pay back so they can repo you car and sell it for large profit. They are not helping us or anyone but thier selfs steal Millions of dollars from poor people that would be better off with out them.
