My father gave my husband an $80.00 Sizzler gift card for his birthday. When we attempted to use it at our local Sizzler restaurant it was refused.
We contacted Sizzler and received an email saying the incient would be investigated and we would hear back about it.
Two weeks later we have still not heard one word. I attempted to contact the person who sent the email and the address wouldn't work. The next closest Sizzler is alomst 100 miles round trip. We are hardly inclined to travel that far to eat at a Sizzler, particularly when there is no reason to believe that restaurant would honor the gift card either.
Let the customer beware. Redeeming Sizzler gift cards is just as rewarding as attempting to use frequent flier miles with the airlines.
